Hawaii Life

The City

So Hawaii has definitely been an experience. Never would I have thought in my entire life that I’d be living in such a beautiful place in the span of almost a month. It’s been a super busy trip filled with lots of work, but I can’t complain about it purely based on the fact that I’ve been able to soak in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. More than a few times already, I’ve caught my jaw dropping at scenery that you could only imagine seeing through the skillful eye of a photographer. It’s one thing seeing these images in National Geographic, but another being able to experience it personally. It really is like no other.

With that in mind, I’ve been able to fire a few shots with the trusty little Iphone and a few awesome apps like Tiltshift Generator, Photogene, and the recently purchased Shakeitphoto. All must have photo apps for the Iphone in my opinion. Anyhow, aside from uploading most of them to my flickr account, I’ll be posting a few of my favorites here. Enjoy!

Lady with Red

Blood Oil

A couple months ago, I shot some video to cover the Iran Freedom March that had occurred in Westwood. I’m not going to go into detail as you can see the video here. Needless to say I really dug a few of the shots I was able to pull off. This is one of the frame grabs that I personally loved.

Little Boats

I have to admit one of the benefits working in Downtown Long Beach is being just a block away from the pier. Spent the weekend here to try out a new restaurant and then took a little stroll on the pier with my girlfriend. I totally love taking snaps with my iphone.
